Tastes vary greatly such that. When we play BGC at 11ish they are very pinnable, very puttable and far more exposing of poor putting than any green that can be putted at a speed of 14-15 and they are much more fun. One design feature is somewhat of a paradox, from many tee boxes the holes look extraordinarily tight and perhaps even intimidating. I don't know how else to respond to Max other than posting this way, but the greens at BGC are not meant to be run at 13, green speed, the scourge of modern golf, is an extremely modern addition to the game historically.
